August 2-Overall Lessons for the 1st grading period

            For the past two months, Ms. Macatigos had finished discussing all the topic for the 1st grading period. I believe that our teacher had done her part in educating us students. And as a result, we have learned many things.We have learned the following lessons:

         *Probability
         *Probability Distribution: Mean, Variance, Standard deviation
         *Discrete Probability Distribution
         * Normal Distribution
         *Central Limit Theorem
         *Normal Approximation to Binomial Distribution
         *Confidence intervals for the mean- z test
         *Confidence intervals for the mean- t test
         *Confidence intervals for proportions, variances and standard deviation
         *Hypothesis and critical values
         *Z- test and T-test for the mean

         And last Thursday and Friday, we had taken our first departmental test in all subjects. We are very nervous in taking the test because all of our teacher are expecting us to apply the things that we have learned. But we are very grateful that our teacher in statistics had provided the formula at the back of our test paper so that it will be easy for us to answer the 50-item test given in a particular time. We all hope that our score will be high and if not high we all hope that it's a passing score.
